Google Inactive Account Manager is set up

myaccount.google.com/inactive — picks a timeout, adds contacts.

Recovery email and phone are current

Google sends warnings here before taking any action.

Someone knows my Gmail password or recovery path

Without access to Gmail, password resets for other services break.

Legacy Contact is configured (iOS 15.2+)

Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Legacy Contact.

Recovery key is stored somewhere safe

Without it, Apple cannot help anyone access your account.

Emergency access is configured

Bitwarden Premium or 1Password Families — set a waiting period.

Emergency contact knows which password manager I use

They don't need the password yet — just knowing the tool exists is step one.

Bank account list exists (no passwords needed on paper)

Bank name + account type. Your person can call with documentation.

Insurance policies are documented

Life, health, property — policy numbers and provider contact info.

Crypto wallet seed phrase has a backup plan

Metal backup, split storage, or trusted person knows where to find it.

Domain registrars and expiration dates are listed

Domains auto-renew — but only while the card works.

Hosting and infrastructure accounts are documented

Vercel, AWS, Cloudflare — where does the site actually live?

Key social accounts are listed with login emails

Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn. No passwords needed — just the list.

Paid subscriptions are catalogued

Netflix, Spotify, Notion, Substack — recurring charges that should be reviewed.

At least one person knows this plan exists

A plan with zero people who know about it is just a thought you had.

That person knows how to reach the others

The person you trust shouldn't have to guess who else needs to know.
